Help with the Ideadex app for iPhone

Ideadex is a quiet place for the things you find on the internet: reels, videos, articles, links, photos, and passing thoughts. Capture in one tap; the app fetches previews, captions, and article text on its own. Everything stays on your device and in your own iCloud.

Capturing

• From any app: use the system share sheet and choose Ideadex. Nothing is saved until you tap SAVE.
• From the clipboard: copy a link anywhere, open Ideadex, and tap the capture chip that appears.
• In the app: the + CAPTURE bar takes typed thoughts, pasted links, voice notes, photos, and camera shots.

Organizing

• Everything lands in the Inbox first. Create spaces from the menu when you want them.
• Drag one tile onto another to make a group, exactly like home-screen folders.
• Long-press a tile and choose Select to move, archive, or delete many at once.
• Pinch the grid to change tile size; the ⬡ button switches to the cluster view.

Common questions

A link shows no preview. Open it and tap RELOAD, which asks the source again. Some pages simply do not offer previews.

Do my captures sync? Yes, through your private iCloud, automatically, when your device is signed into iCloud. No account with us exists or is needed.

Where is my data? On your device and in your personal iCloud database. We run no servers and cannot see your library. Details in the privacy policy.

How do I delete everything? Delete the app, and remove Ideadex's iCloud data under Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
